We arrived on new year's eve, were treated to a sumptuous meal, very pleasant and friendly service, and a spectacular view finishing with a private fireworks show! The staff were always very friendly, helpful & kind. The food was delicious ~ lumpia & gado=gado were the favorites! The beds were comfortable, bathrooms lovely, clean & all in all a lovely holiday. Thankyou for such a relaxing & pleasant experience & the view is second to none!

The location is fantastic, the nature is part of everything here. The tiny birds in the pool, the bees on the red star flowers, the friendly singing frogs, the geckos, the ant lines, the moody cat, the hungry grasshoppers. All the staff here makes everything perfect and with big smiles always! The food is delicious. Special appreciation for the Christmas efforts --> the decorations, lights, cakes, and fireworks! The entire experience of our family vacation has been nothing but wonderful. We truly enjoyed every bit of the stay. Team put such great care of my kids and they liked them so much. We had a wonderful stay of the villa! The locatiom is beyond beautiful. Our time here has been peaceful and tranquil, we have loved every moment. The staff has been very attentive and the food has been excellent!

We had a wonderful time at this villa! Rana helped us find a Chinese Restaurant at the event of Chinese New Year which was very memorable dinner for all of us. We are going to miss Kadex & Indra's cooking at Villa Umah Shanti, expecially Kadex's Nasi Goreng for Breakfast! The BBQ dinner on our first night was amazing and the nasi campur feast on our last night with the homemade slow-cooked Balinese Chicken was fantastic! We have been to Bali many times in the past and stayed at hotels, but never felt so close to nature and local culture as we have during our stay here. Rana helped us to discover the locl sight and culture and looked after us very well. We really felt "at Home" in ubud during our stay! Thank you to all the friendly staff at Villa Umah Shanti.

Absolute Bliss!

Staff, location, facilities all perfect. The only down side is that we only booked 4nighs here! Must do while in Ubud:

* Monkey forest

* Volcano, walk to watch the sunsrise.

   We enjoyed our stay at  Umah Shanti. Because of the beautiful surrounding staff and overall comfort.  Rana is wonderful host. So friendly, happy and helpfull. He tought us quite a bit about Ubud, drove us to main part of town and made us feel totally comfortable so far from home (NYC). Some tips:

1. Sleep with the windows open! Such amazing sounds and its cooler at night.

2. The omellete breakfast is amazing.

3. Get to the center early to grab a seat for traditional bali dancings- it fills up.

4. Go to volcano and buy some fruit.

Umah Shanti Villa is breathtaking! The view from each room, escpecially the main living space are spectakular. You are pretty much in the midle of beautiful plants, trees & vegetation. Rana & his staff couldn't be more friendly. He drove us into town the first evening we stayed & event went so far as to wait for us until we were finished to drive us back! He even joined us at the bar where we were played a game of billiards. Wish we could've stayed longer. Definitely want to come back. Sukma Umah Shanti!

Villa Umah Shanti : What an amazing place! The facilities were well presented, confortable and well maintenance and combined with location, made us all immediately feel relaxed and at home. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accomodating and looked after us and the villa in a quiet , professional and good manners. We loved the food! It was delicious,  well presented and the range of optional catered for everyones' tastes. The table settings and service made each meal and evend to be shared and enjoyed with friends. Thank you so much for 50th Birthday party on our first night. We were all particurally touch by and impressed with the effort the staff went to celebrate our joined 50th Birthday. The decoration, the dinner, the table service and the surprise Birthday cake made it a very special evening and one will have fond memories of for years to come. We have spent of wonderful. 4days with good friends in an amzing place. We lived the dream!

My first impression of Umah Shanti is awesome, spectacular, stuning, beautiful and jewel in the crown! Team staff the most hospitable and welcoming team!!
